Today Will and I are off to the exotic land of Los Angeles, California!  Unfortunately, when you book a flight through travelauction.com they route you in very interesting ways, so we will actually be staying overnight in LA, then fly out to Hong Kong tomorrow am.  We saved a lot of money bidding on the tickets, but it would have been more in the spirit of an adventure if we would be truly leaving the country today.  We shall make the best of this minor setback by going to Uptown and perhaps spending more money at the apple store.

Also, for all of you ABQ natives, Will has not been back in the land of enchantment for a decade but he can still appreciate the comfort of a trip to the Frontier! He was hungry last night when he arrived and it seemed the most logical place to take him.  We both enjoyed a breakfast burrito with green chile (even though I had eaten a few hours earlier at the flying star)...

I just dropped my friend Izzy off at the airport (she was occupying the other full size bed) and now it is time for more shut-eye.
